Paula Gardner

Our attorneys are aided by a Registered Nurse Paralegal Paula Gardner. Paula has been certified as a CCM or certified case manager. The CCM certification is the first nationally accredited case manager credential. CCM certification is for case managers who have the expertise, knowledge, and professional experience to provide the right services to patients with serious or complex medical conditions, and/or catastrophic injuries and illnesses. The CCM credential means that case managers are committed to uphold the highest professional and ethical standards.

Paula participates in all aspects of the case including: initial client contact, client interviews, medical research, records review, and communication with expert witnesses. She also assists in preparing questions for medical depositions and is active in the trial preparation process.

Prior to becoming a Registered Nurse Paralegal she was a Workers Compensation Case Manager. She was employed by Cigna Insurance and assigned to Lockheed Martin Marietta. She was assigned to the F-22 Raptor jet and C-130 transport plane. Prior to becoming a Workers Compensation Case Manager she was a hospital staff nurse working in the areas of orthopedics, cardiac care, recovery room, and general medicine.
